Well the first half of the major league baseball season is almost over, and here is a recap of how we are doing at Xtreme Dynasty
Our record currently stands at 63-57-1 for the season, a nice 52.4% win rate. Baseball is a different beast then other sports. You can be a winner betting on baseball and only be right 45% of the times. The key is to finding value with the games. If you were to bet a favorite like the Yankees who always have a bad gamblers line, lets say -150. You would have to win 60% of your games just to break even. This is very hard to do throughout the year.
On the flipside if you were to bet an underdog at +150 you would only need to win 40%of those games to break even. I am not saying to go out and start betting all underdogs. The key is to find a good mix. Run lines can be very juicy as well, and I have played those a lot this year.
I am happy with my results being up a little over 30 units so far this year. I think I am due for a big 2nd half, and I am personally aiming for 70 units in the 2nd half, so we can finish the season at +100 units.
